NV Land Guide
After extensive renovation, there is not much left to recognize of the former ferry and industrial port, which served the eponymous Tuborg brewery, among others. Modern residential and office buildings close to the water have replaced the former cranes and quay facilities, while modern jetties with around 350 berths characterize today's image.
A visit to the Experimentarium directly at the port is well worthwhile. Here, science is playful, practical and intuitive, and all you really need is curiosity. Definitely worth a visit - and make sure you allow enough time. A visit can easily take 4-5 hours if you get caught up in the many possibilities of the exhibitions. There is a small café where food and drink is available, but you can also bring your own food and eat it in the cafeteria.
A visit to the Tuborg breweries is recommended, where guests can learn about beer production. Visitors are also offered fresh, home-brewed beer. The large brewery is open to the public with guided tours at 10.00 am, 12.30 pm and 2.30 pm. Probably the largest beer bottle in the world is located on the brewery premises. It is over 25 meters high.
The suburban museum Øregård in Ørehøj-Allee 2 is also worth a visit. It contains topographical collections.
